My Favorite Jewelry Shops

Hey friends! I’m so excited to finally share with ya’ll some of my favorite jewelry pieces and places that I love to shop at! When it comes to jewelry- I’m 100% a gold kinda girl and definitely gravitate towards dainty jewelry. But I do love a good statement piece and a pop of color from time to time too!

Over the years, I have found a few places that I really love shopping at for jewelry and some of these pieces have become my absolute favorites to wear! I just love how a bold earring or a fun beaded bracelet can take your look up a notch! And I of course love when jewelry has special meaning behind it like the necklace I’m currently wearing.

Honestly, buying jewelry is one of my favorite things to do and recently discovered that I may have an earring addiction in particular haha! I’m not mad about it one bit though! From supporting small businesses to ones that are providing fair-wages to women in countries like Uganda and India- I’ve found some amazing businesses that I love to support!

And whether your a dainty jewelry lover like myself or you like something that makes more of a statement- I think there’s a little bit here for everyone!

1. Common Mission Women: If you have been following me on IG then you know my love for CMW runs deep. This small business was created by a good friend of mine who is seriously one of the sweetest people I know and not to mention the fact that she’s incredibly talented! She started creating these ceramic earrings that are hand-made by her (one woman boss babe & full-time mama of two little boys) and I just love them so much! She has so many beautiful pieces from neutrals to bright colors and even though I love my dainty jewelry- I found myself loving some of her more statement pieces. She recently came out with a rainbow collection and I am in LOVE. The larger neutral rainbows are so fun and make the perfect addition to any outfit! And if you’re not a statement earring kinda girl- she has an assortment of the cutest studs that are perfect for everyday looks!

[[ CMW is also all about encouraging & empowering women and helping those in need in the local community. For every order placed 10% of the proceeds go towards those struggling with homelessness & poverty in the Chicagoland area. In response to COVID, they are currently donating 20% of proceeds. ]]

2. Made By Mary: Remember how I said that dainty gold jewelry is my thing? Well that is exactly what you’ll find from Made by Mary and I literally want every single thing. Like currently adding stuff to my cart as I type this. Ha! But really they have the prettiest jewelry- think simple but timeless and they have a ton of customizable options to really make it your own. I love that their pieces are ones that hold so much meaning and that you can make them unique to your own story. My husband ordered me some items for my first Mother’s Day and I’ve been loving my necklace and it will forever be so special to me. (It’s the Evie Charm necklace with the letter H for my son, Hudson, a peony which is his birth month flower, and a rainbow because he’s our sweet double rainbow baby).

He also got me a few gold rings and I have to say the Poppy ring is my fave. Honestly, I want everythinggg in the Poppy collection. And because I’m clearly obsessed with MBM- I ordered two of the hoop earrings! One in the Live In Hoop (size 30mm) and one Maude Hoop (19mm) and although I love both, I have to say I’m pretty smitten with the Live In Hoops. They're just the perfect size and so comfortable! If you’re a hoop kinda girl- just do yourself a favor and go buy them!!

3. Sseko: I recently purchased a few pieces from Sseko when I hosted a party through a friend and I have been loving the items that I got! Since I seem to be on an earring kick these days- I got two pairs of earrings and a matching bracelet. The whole set consists of cream paper beads that are hand-made from women in Uganda. These are the perfect neutral pieces that can be worn for the everyday look and honestly they’re just so cute and I’ve been wearing them a ton!

[[ Also, if you’re new to Sseko- they feature all kinds of products from cute strappy sandals to the prettiest leather bags and everything is hand-made by women in Uganda. They are all about supporting women by providing fair wages & helping to send these women to University. I love that when I shop Sseko, I know that I’m making a difference! ]]

4. GLDN by Layered + Long: I found this Etsy shop a few years back and have purchased a few necklaces from them! They are all about that layered look which I love and this shop just speaks to my dainty gold jewelry loving self! They have a ton of cute necklaces and a lot of customizable options as well! I’ve worn my necklaces from there for years and they’ve always remained in good condition. My first purchase was a customizable bar necklace that has the coordinates from where we got married. I then went on to purchase this crescent moon necklace that I wore during our infertility journey as it symbolizes fertility and new birth. Besides necklaces- they have tons of cute rings, bracelets, and earrings! The packaging that it comes in is also super cute and I find this shop to be pretty affordable but also good quality- you really can’t go wrong!

I truly feel like I’ve found some hidden gems that are my go-to places to shop for some of the cutest jewelry pieces. From fun & bold earrings to meaningful dainty necklaces- there’s a little bit of something here for everyone and I love being able to shop small and support women owned businesses whenever I can! I hope you guys enjoyed a peak inside my jewelry collection and I’d love to know what your favorites are!?
